Île d’Oléron

Hello my dears,

I’m back from a two-weeks-break. And I’m writing to you from Paradise. I lit up the fireplace and now I chill on the couch with a glass of wine. I just returned from a walk at the beach – a strong wind whipped up the waves, heavy clouds hanging low. Now I’m back at my cosy and warm house and thick raindrops patter down the roof.

My house? Yes, my house. At least until Sunday this precious place in the middle in the forest is mine.

I am on Île d’Oléron and I look forward to spend a couple of days at the same place. This stop is already the pre-final stop of my journey through Spain/France. On Sunday I will go to Nantes and then spend some days in Prague for work.

I’ve chosen this accommodation on purpose secluded in the middle of a forest. I would like to focus on work – and this is much easier without sights or other distractions. I also hope to do a bit more surfing – definitely a new hobby for me!

xoxo anita

PS: The impressions of my other stops in France are coming soon…
